Axcend organized a Panel Discussion on IT Adoption In Indian Manufacturing on 12^th August 2011 at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. The Panel Discussion in collaboration with IIM Bangalore was organized to bring academia and practitioners together for mutual benefits and research on a particular sector. The event was a networking event that started early evening over high tea with a key note speak from Mr. Shekhar Vishwanathan, Deputy Managing Director, Toyota Kirloskar. This was then followed by a panel discussion with Mr. K V Rehani  -Ex-Head of Control & Automation-Corporate Engg Group, Hindustan Unilever Limited,  Mr. Badrinath Setlur  - Global Subject Matter Expert (SME) in IBM Global Business Services and Dr. B Mahadevan -Professor of Operations Management at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.

Axcend participated in Next Generation Manufacturing Practices: Indian production Systems on 20^th October 2011 at Chennai. The objective of the conference was to help the industry to enhance and achieve excellence in manufacturing.  Axcend presented ArchestrA Workflow Software – A process management application for Manufacturing which enables manufacturing organizations to institutionalize work processes that manage normal, unscheduled or disruptive events within their operations environment--providing the Right People with the Right Information at the Right Time.

Axcend participated in Intersolar at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. Intersolar was the world’s largest solar technology trade fair and the annual meeting place for everyone in the international solar Industry. It focused on the Photovoltaic, Solar Thermal and Solar Architecture branches. Axcend shared its Solutions on SCADA and Remote Monitoring of the solar plants.  It included Plant level monitoring for the Invertors, weather stations and Substations, plant level and remote monitoring of Alarm and events, multiple platform support and role based view, plant Investors, Plant O & M and Utilities.
